It's is funny how varying yarns knit so differently. A month or two back, I knit a pair of socks on 2mm needles using Malabrigo yarn. I swear those socks just jumped off the needles. Next two pair were made with 2.25mm needles and Cascade Heritage yarn. Definitely not as fast but not slow either. Somehow I got it in my head it was the needle size that was the difference. Wrong!
I started a new pair of socks on 2mm needles and Regia 4 ply sock yarn. I am actually knitting loosely for me. Slick metal needles yet yarn just clings to the needle. I've managed to make it to the leg on the first sock but oh so slow!
