There must be some kind of logic here but it escapes me. Gauge with 2.5mm needle, 8spi. 2.25mm 9+spi. 2mm, 8spi!!!!
Sigh, this makes my sock too big. Wearable for my purposes but still frustrating. I was shooting for as close to 10spi as I could get with my smallest needle (2mm Size 0) instead it is much looser than the next larger needle. I added 8 stitches to my design to compensate for the expected spi. Result...large sock.
