I've had this slight problem the past few weeks. I have lots of hand knit wool socks now but for some reason have been unable to put on a new never worn pair. I pull them out of the drawer then tuck them right back in. All the older pairs are in the wash bin and I needed socks this morning. I stood and stood there. Which ones? No not those...I like that pair too much. No not those, they match my favorite blouse...best save them in case I want to wear them to town. Results? I couldn't put on any of the socks I made in 2011. Told you it was silly! I did find one pair of never worn socks that I made in 2010 and finally settled on those.
I wonder at what point, I will feel I have so many socks, that wearing any of them anytime will be acceptable?
p.s. After typing up this post, I have discovered I have another slight problem. Apparently I still think it is 2011. I had to go back and edit because I think I made bunches of socks 'this year' and socks that were made in 2010 are just 'last year'.
