I had fun trying to finish the two socks before the end of the year. It's not happening (as expected). I am turning the heel on the purple sock so it will be finished in the next few days. Apparently there is still no particular rush for wool socks anyway. It's in the 70's today....again.
Instead of knitting my little fingers off, I have been knitting first thing for just a bit then deep cleaning for a few hours. Not every day, as there have been errands to run, other chores to do, and insanity to deal with (read the last post). Enough cleaning days though that I am pleased with the progress.
Lunch break is over now. I intend to put another hour into cleaning then figure out something tasty for us to eat.
