I've done it again...

What is it with me and knitting? Super-duper simple. Knit toe and heel in black, the rest of sock in purple. Well I managed the toe in black! 2 inches past the heel and I realized the heel was purple. Couple pairs of socks back I managed to knit two different colored heels. The whole point this time was to once again conserve the purple, as I am using a leftover skein. Now instead of having plenty of yarn, I am relegated to checking the weight of the skein every inch or so. Sad part is I am having to estimate the starting amount of yarn! Oh well, I suppose worst case is I rip back and re-do the leg. There will be a lot of pouting involved if that happens!
