Every time

Every time I start a new project, the first few inches I really question my choices. Logically I know most will work out just fine. They just need to go through their odd baby stage first and make me wonder if it will ever look normal.

This is my current on-the-go sock. I did most of the purple while sitting in the vet's office over two days time. Vet's office explains all the cat fur! The first couple inches of purple I really wondered if I was going to need to frog but it finally pulled itself together.

The design is just one step above a vanilla sock, mostly knit with some purl stitches thrown in here and there. I've already started the gusset so it's a pretty fast knit. The yarn is Cascade Heritage that I had leftover from other socks.

One red lace sock is complete so I can't wait to get the second one on the needles.
